The Westbourne Centre

The Westbourne Centre was created as a unique joint venture between Ramsay Health Care UK (a private healthcare group with 80 UK hospitals), Hiroshi and three consultant colleagues. Our common vision was to create a centre that would provide patients with a high quality, consultant-led service in an environment where the patient experience is outstanding. Simultaneously, we wanted to allow top consultants the opportunity to develop their private and NHS practices within highly maintained, state-of-the-art facilities.

Highly Qualified and Experienced Staff

The Westbourne Centre is located in the heart of Edgbaston, Birmingham and opened in January 2009. It has evolved to provide a range of multi-disciplinary surgical and medical services. These include cosmetic surgery, ophthalmic, orthopaedic, ENT surgery, vascular surgery, podiatry and dentistry.

The Centre works with clinical and support staff that are highly qualified and experienced, and have been trained to deliver exceptional patient centric care.

The Westbourne Centre is proud to have pioneered and developed innovative local anaesthetic and sedation techniques that have allowed selected surgical patients to be treated as day cases, meaning that they are able to leave shortly after their procedure, but still receive the same thorough and excellent experience and aftercare that they would expect with a general anaesthetic.
